Head Coach Jim Yeingst - ASCA 4

Coach Jim is an ASCA certified Level 4 coach and an ASCA certified Stroke Technician. After four years as the Head Age Group Coach at Trident, he assumed the Head Coach position in April of 2007. Prior to that, Coach Jim was with the Lancaster Aquatic Club where he coached for three years as an assistant age group coach and two years as an assistant senior coach. Coach Jim was also selected as a Middle Atlantic Zone All Star team coach from 2004-2007. Coach Jim is a 1981 graduate of McCaskey High School where he was a two time high school All American and State Champion in the 50 free.

Head Age Group Coach Gwyn Atkinson - ASCA 2

Coach Atkinson is an ASCA certified Level 2 coach, and an ASCA certified Stroke Technician. She has been with Trident since 1996. Gwyn has developed a strong program grounded in teaching young swimmers the techniques of competitive swimming. Gwyn is also Program Director for the Lancaster SwimAmerica Program, which supports the growth of swimming within the Lancaster community. Gwyn was selected as a Middle Atlantic Zone All Star team coach in 2007. She swam for Upper Dublin High School and Millersville University. Gwyn coached for 3 years at Lancaster Country Club and served as an assistant coach for 2 years at F&M. She has also coached the Mountville summer team since 1993.
